Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Cheyenne, Wyoming!
Cheyenne -- Wyoming’s Rodeo and Railroad Capital -- packs a wallop in western-style allure from its historic train depot to the Cheyenne Frontier Days (world's largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration) and Big Boy (world's largest steam engine). Not all that far from pines, lakes and streams of the Medicine Bow National Forest, Laramie County’s seat is in the high plains region of the state’s southeast corner. Cheyenne earned the moniker of “Magic City of the Plains” because of rapid growth after a Union Pacific rail station was established in the mid-1800s. From Cheyenne, day trips can be taken to Fort Laramie National Historic Site, the Snowy Range Ski Area, Curt Gowdy State Park (26 miles west), Vedauwoo Recreation Area (25 miles west), Other Cheyenne attractions range from Cheyenne Botanic Gardens to the Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley.
